Students who are new to Dallas County Schools and who are enrolling for the 2021 - 2022 school year (including all Kindergarten and Pre-K students) should use the appropriate link below for PowerSchool online registration.

- Enter the SnapCode associated with your student and follow the prompts.
- Complete the Returning Student Enrollment
What is a SnapCode?
The SnapCode is like a key to your child’s Returning Student Registration for the upcoming school year. You should receive a unique SnapCode for each child. If you do not have a snap code and you are a Returning Student, please contact the school for further instructions.
Should I create an account?
Yes, you should create a PowerSchool account. This allows you to securely save your work and come back at a later time if necessary. You can use your email address or cell phone number.
Once you have created your parent account, you will gain access to your student’s account to begin re-enrollment.
If you have a second student or more to enroll, you should click on their snapcode link (from the email sent to you). This time you will not create a new parent account, but sign in with the account you just created for yourself. Your parent account that you established will be used for each of your students.
Do I have to answer all the questions?
Questions marked with a red asterisk (*) are required.
What if I make a mistake?
If you would like to make a change, click on the underlined field or click “< Prev” to return to a previous page.
I’ve completed the form, now what?
When you have finished entering your information, click “Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school. If you cannot click on this button, you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions.
What if I have more than one
student in the district?
Do I need to do this for each child?
Yes, because you’ll need to provide information that is specific for each child. We recommend that you submit one Returning Student Registration and then start another – this will allow the site to copy shared family information on each student's form, which will save you time.
What if I don’t know what
a question is asking?
Please contact the school you are attempting to register your child at for the upcoming year.
