My name is Sarah Youngblood and I am a Special Education Teacher at Martin Middle School. I graduated from Auburn University in 2005 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Social Work. I graduated with my Masters from Grand Canyon University in March 2018.

I love my job, school, faculty, and especially the students!!!
I enjoy reading and rescuing homeless animals in my spare time.

Easter Seals West Central Alabama Rehabilitation Center
I started my first job with Easter Seals of West Central Alabama Rehabilitation Center with the Special Preschool Education Center (SPEC). We contracted with the Selma City Schools and Dallas County Schools to provide their preschool services for students with disabilities ages 3 - 5.
2014 - 2016
Head Start
After working there for 10 years, I moved to Head Start and was the Disabilities Manager for 2 years, where I worked closely with Dr. Streeter of the Dallas County Schools and realized my dream of becoming a Special Education Teacher was possible.
2016 - Present
Martin Middle School
I teach 7th and 8th grade Special Education, as well as two Skills Classes.
