Students Communications

On May 12, all families who signed up for or were eligible for the ABC for Students Program can sign up for the FCC’s temporary Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB). We are asking for your support in sharing information about EBB with your student’s households so that they can transfer to the EBB program in time for the end of the program on June 30, 2021. On this date, support for internet service through the ABC for Student Program will automatically discontinue.

Details about the EBB program can be found at
 GetEmergencyBroadband.org.

To help families transfer to the EBB Program, we’ve compiled a new Toolkit that contains ready-to-use robocall and sms messages, posters, social media images, and more, all of which can be accessed here: bit.ly/ABCToolkitEBB. A guide to the Toolkit describing its contents can be found here: bit.ly/ABCToolkitEBBGuide.

Like you, it is our mission to make sure that every student in Alabama is able to access their education. We are grateful for your continued support in this effort during the course of the ABC for Students Program. Please reach out to us at ABCForStudentsTeam@gmail.com with any questions, ideas, or issues. We are here to help!

Our best,

ABC for Students Communications Team
