UPDATING WINDOWS
1. It is extremely important that these directions are followed to update your Operating system.
2. This should only be done if you have Windows 2000 or Windows XP Operating System. If you are not sure what you have, click here
3. Open the Internet Explorer.
4. Find "Tools" on the Menu Bar, scroll down to "Windows Update."
5. Let Microsoft search for your operating system and what updates you will need. Then click on "Install Updates."
6. If you have Windows XP, click on the right window to turn on Automatic Updates.

UPDATING OFFICE
1. It is extremely important that these directions are followed to update your Office Applications.
2. Open any Office Application- Word, Powerpoint, etc.
3. Find "Help on the Menu Bar, scroll down to "Check for Updates."
4. Click on Check for Updates and let Microsoft search and find what updates you need, then install them.

What Operating System Do I Have?
1. Find the "My Computer" icon on your desktop.
2. Right mouse click on "My Computer."
3. Click the "General" tab, if not already selected. It will tell you the operating system.
