All technology purchases must be made through the approved bid vendors. For these vendors and purchase options go to the Dallas County Schools Web Page- Technology Page.

Technology money given to the teachers has to be spent for technology purchases. By definition spending that will be approved is, “computer hardware, software, devices connected to computer hardware or items or spending necessary to ensure a working computer and a network connection.” Any other purchase requests will be denied. If the school purchases items that are not approved with this money, the school could insure the payback cost.

Purchases or items obtained through other means may not be supported by the Technology Staff and Support Team of the Dallas County Schools.
